Ride-or-Die Beauty Favorites

  1. Haus Labs Tri Clone Foundation (300 Medium Neutral) | $49

One of the best foundations I have ever used. It’s extremely lightweight and has a beautiful buildable formula. It is on the pricier side, but I would recommend splurging on this if you’re a foundation wearer.

2. Danessa Myricks Blurring Balm Lip & Cheek (Dancing Queen) | $25

The entire DM product line is fantastic! After being a fan of the original blurring balm foundation, it’s no surprise that the cheek and lip version is amazing (and dare I say, even better) The formula gives the skin a gorgeous blurred look, and bonus points if you have oily skin (like me) as it has a beautiful matte finish. The color shades are phenomenal and incredibly versatile.

3. Haus Labs Colorfuse Lip & Cheek stick (glassy pitaya) | $34

Once again, Gaga showing us what a celebrity makeup brand should look like. This lip and cheek stick is breathtaking, the shade glass pitaya is a cool toned bright pink with mind blowing color payoff. A single dab of the product is more than enough for me. The skincare hybrid formula leaves a natural, radiant finish.

4. MAC lip liner pencil (chestnut) | $25

This is an absolute cult classic, so how could I not include it in my favorites? The MAC lip liners are an iconic product that every MUA should have in their kit, it’s versatile, easy to use, and has a great wear time. Chestnut has been my absolute go to for a long time now.

5. Fenty Beauty Poutsicle Lip Stain (Strawberry Sangria) | $28

Of course, I had to include Fenty in my list. The poutsicle lip stain is a vital part of my lip combo routine that I would probably keel over and die without it. I bought this the day it launched and have continued to rebuy it since then. Lip stains are such a tricky product to review since, as a whole, you either love lip stains or you hate it. I personally love it. I’m the type of person not to apply it all over my lips, but just at the center for an extra pop of color.

6. The Ordinary Brow & Lash serum | $14.90

As someone who wore lashes almost every single day, my lashes were destroyed. The Brow and Lash serum saved me, genuinely. It does take time to see results and you need to be consistent but it’s 100% worth it.

7. Hero Cosmetics Rescue Balm | $30

I’m someone who struggles with acne, and sometimes pimple patches don’t do enough. This has been a lifesaver, especially on days when I don’t have enough patches to cover a breakout. The Hero brand is more than just their patches, and I truly believe people don’t talk about it enough.

8. La Roche Posay Anthelios Clear Skin Dry Touch Sunscreen | $27

Sunscreen has always been my least favorite product, mainly because of the texture left behind. I hated the oily cast most sunscreens left on my body, but more importantly, my face. It also makes makeup application a nightmare. But this is one of the few products that doesn’t make me feel like an oily mess.

9. Abib Airy Sunstick Bar | $29

Just like the La Roche Posay sunscreen, this sunscreen is just phenomenal. It has an easy stick application, and it really feels like nothing on the face. Super underrated brand, and I highly recommend all of their products.

10. Vaseline | $6

Sometimes you just need to go back to the basics. This past winter I visited Arizona for the first time, and my skin was in horrific condition because of the dry climate. Vaseline is one of the few products that I have always gone back to as an effective lip treatment. Sometimes you don’t need that $30 lip mask (hint hint) when something a 1/8 of the price can do better.

11. Olaplex No 7 bonding hair oil | $54

After my extensive curl routine, the bonding hair oil is the only product I use to break my gel cast. A little really does go a long way, and it leaves my hair looking healthy and full of life.

12. Fenty Hair Comeback Kid Hair Treatment | $36

I was skeptical of the Fenty Hair line, just because celebrity brands aren’t always the most trustworthy. But I was quickly proven wrong. The Comeback Kid changed my hair after I bleached it for the first time. It eased my mind and improved my hair health almost instantaneously.

13. OUAI Hydrating curl cream | $32

I am very picky on curl creams, and I’ve tried dozens of them. But the OUAI curl cream is the first that has wowed me. I never considered OUAI a curl friendly or a brand I would reach for. But this is a product that I cannot live without and I am forever grateful for the friend who gifted me it.
