NAK’S- Kamayan feast

This 18-course feast for $135 was one of the most memorable dining experiences I have had in a long time. Let me warn you, they tell you to eat with your hands so get ready to be messy! Each dish was unique and highlighted the Filipino culture in a modern way. The chef’s goal with this tasting is to bring his childhood dishes to NYC in a creative yet authentic way. This pork dish was one of the highlights as the skin was crunchy and the sizable meat was so juicy and tender!

Sushi Hayashi- 15 course

This $108, 15-course omakase is worth EVERY DOLLAR! They show you all the fish and ingredients they are feeding you for the night and if you go to the late session you may even get a special extra treat! Each fish was so fresh and delicious, we promise you will leave full. They have all the basics of omakase from wagyu to uni but they also have unique pieces like the Dungeness crab that is HUGE!

COSME

Now I know what you're thinking… Why would I pay that much for a taco? WELL as a taco lover myself I will tell you this is one of the first times a “fancier” Mexican restaurant taco was WORTH EVERY DOLLAR! This duck carnitas has been dry-aged and cooked for 3 days and melts in your mouth. Although it’s $112 it’s big enough to share leaving you and your date full. It’s a build-your-own tacos situation and even their salsas were packed with flavor and paired well with the duck.
