Milly’s Perfect DIRTY Martini

“I prefer my dirty martinis to be FILTHY so keep that in mind when making it!” -Milly

INGREDIENTS

  • CHILLED MARTINI GLASS

  • Ice

  • 2 OZ CHILLED GIN

  • 1/2 OZ Dry Vermouth

  • 1 OZ Olive Juice

  • 3 Olives (for garnish)

  • Cocktail Skewer

HOW TO MAKE IT

  1. Grab your cocktail shaker and fill it with LIGHT ice.

  2. Next, pour in your CHILLED gin, vermouth and olive juice and SHAKE!

(or stir depending on how you like your martini)

  3. Finally strain into your chilled martini glass and garnish with three olives!

TIPS FROM MILLY

  • THROW YOUR MARTINI GLASS AND BOTTLE OF GIN IN YOUR FREEZER THE NIGHT BEFORE!

  • I only stir my martinis IF the gin is of high quality because you lose less of the botanical flavors and integrity of the gin, vs when you shake. (shaking=more dilution)

  • A perfect martini is when it is ice cold without diluting the gin too much with ice. When I make them I sometimes do not even use ice if my gin is chilled along with my glass.

  • The chilled glass and gin will allow less dilution to your martini while still being cold allowing for a more enjoyable cocktail.

  • Keep your olives in the fridge so the olive brine (olive juice) you use in your martini is cold as well helping add to the chillness of the martini using less ice!
