The vodka-y-soda is one of my personal favorite cocktails here in NYC. It’s fresh, light, sweet, and delicious for any summer day. The process of making this drink is quite intricate from the BTS we have seen in some of their past interviews but wow we truly see and understand the hype over it. Superbueno was awarded one of the best cocktail bars in the US this year! This spot is fun, unpretentious and a great spot to start your night out.
Bar Americano- House Vermouth
One of my favorite and regular spots in Brooklyn! From their americanos (the cocktail for those of you who are thinking coffee) to their house vermouth you really cannot mess up any cocktail you order here! This house vermouth stood out to me the most as this foam they have on top is SO GOOD. It balances out the drink with that sweet orange taste profile and the texture of the foam with the cocktail gives it a great mouth feel. It may seem simple but just trust me and order it.
The Nines - corpse reviver #2
Now I will say there are a lot of mixed reviews about this trendy piano bar in NYC but I personally still love it. My normal order has always been a Gibson or a dirty martini here but a recent discovery has been the corpse reviver #2! I have been the biggest absinthe hater in the past, but I was pleasantly surprised by this cocktail. When ordering it please specify the corpse reviver #2 as there are 2 variations!
