HAPPIER GROCERY… THE NEW EREWHON OF NYC
Happier Grocery has been open and prospering since 2023 with comparisons to the luxury Supermarket, Erewhon, in sunny California. When entering the store, you are greeted with a seating area filled with local products and magazines decorating a seating area for the high-class cafe that captures the right side of the market.
The cafe is filled with smoothies, ceremonial matchas, Chinese herbal teas, organic supplements, organic and locally sourced hot chocolate, Happier Grocery brand coffee, and complimentary milk from local farms…of course. The prices of these items certainly matched the aesthetic names they received.
The smoothie to the left, is called the Blueberry Charcoal, with Blueberry/Banana/Charcoal/Avocado/Cacao/Lemon/Coconut Water/Protein of your choice-30 grams, with a whopping price of $15.50 + $1.00 for the protein you choose. The smoothie to the right is the Chocolate Dream, made with Cacao/Happier Almond Butter/Banana/Vanilla Extract/Happier Chocolate Oat Milk (Oats, Cacoa, Himalayan Salt, and Dates)/Chocolate Protein- 30 grams, with the same price and additions of the Blueberry Charcoal.
These smoothies packed a punch of flavor as you continued to drink them. Every product filling this expensive market's first floor is sourced by the local farmers who have partnered with Happier Grocery, down to their mayonnaise.
Happier Grocery has almonds, seasonings, soups, salads, ceremonial matcha, almonds, and coffee beans packaged in white and green with bold black letters, stating HAPPIER GROCERY. The market has a sushi and food area at the back of the first floor that fills the room with the aroma of warmed pizza and roasted coffee beans.
The bottom floor of this supermarket located in the hustling middle of Canal Street is filled with condiments, dry ingredients, and you guessed it, skincare. As you make your way down the steps, you are greeted by a Shop Stewart telling you about the impacts of collagen, vitamins, and good gut health. Oxomio, the brand known for its vitamins and collagen, has a designated spot on the shelves of the bottom floor, selling the Ultimate Collagen Beauty Complex for $84.99.
This floor is piled with skin, body, face, and hair products that have been proving to be the new necessities for anyone looking for that clean girl feel. Magazines are displayed all around the store with issues from o32c magazine filling the ambiance in the walls of this market. Happier Grocery does not stop at magazines for browsing, they have merchandise that is for sale hanging all over the establishment. From graphic T-shirts to hats and tote bags… Happier Grocery has it all.
