OLD FASHION RICE

SUSHI RICE IN A COCKTAIL?

Yes you read that right. Rice - particularly sushi rice, which is a lot stickier than other rices - binds and softens the harsh spirits such as whiskey. This makes it the perfect addition to stronger cocktails such as Negronis and Old Fashions, binding the flavors of the cocktails. Making the cocktail easier to drink for those of you who feel old fashions taste like gasoline... It is definitely worth a try for those of you who already love or want to give the Old Fashion a try!
