Espresso Martini Rouge

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 oz raspberry simple syrup - (1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water, handful of raspberries)

  • 1 shot Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Espresso - Stone Street coffee

    (regular plain espresso works too)

  • 1/2 oz kahlua

  • 2 oz vodka

HOW TO MAKE IT

  1. In a small pot make your raspberry simple syrup. Grab a handful of raspberries and muddle them in the pot. Then pour in your 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup water and bring it to a simmer. Stir until the sugar has dissolved and strain into a separate container to cool.

  2. Grab your ice filled shaker and pour in your raspberry simple syrup, espresso, kahlua and vodka and shake! I love this Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Espresso from Stone Street Coffee but plain espresso works just fine.

  3. Shake it aggressively for a good 2 minutes to create that amazing creamy foam, and strain into your glass.

  4. Finally either garnish with 3 espresso beans or if you want to be fancy, grate an espresso bean on top and skewer a raspberry to top it off and enjoy!
