The Sazerac
INGREDIENTS
2 Dashes absinthe
1 Sugar cube
3 Dashes of peychaud’s bitters
2 Dashes of Angostura bitters
1 1/2 oz Cognac
1 1/2 oz rye whiskey
1 lemon twist
HOW TO MAKE IT
Rinse your glass with absinthe and throw it out.
In your mixing glass add both your bitters, muddle the sugar cube then add ice.
Now add your cognac and rye and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Strain into your absinthe rinsed glass, add a lemon twist to garnish and enjoy!
